Staging: Before & After

These are actual “before” photos used by a real estate agent to market this co-op. No, seriously. The “before” marketing did not showcase this lovely apartment’s potential so it’s not surprising that it sat on the market for over one year with no real offers – even after multiple price drops. I worked with this seller to create a Sales Preparation Plan that included affordable updates: a subway tile kitchen backsplash and neutral bathroom paint. We decluttered, cleaned every nook and cranny, and staged using a mix of the seller’s furnishings and items from my Major Jacks Warehouse. A snappy new description and accurate pricing came together with professional photos and floor plans to show buyers the apartment’s best features. This marketing makeover secured over 20 showings within two weeks on the market; multiple offers; and an above asking sales price.
