A fully gut renovated 1920’s home within walking distance to popular “in town” amenities in picturesque Narrowsburg on the Delaware River. Reimagined by Major Jacks, the goal was to create that “brand new” feeling without going #bonedryscandi or #basicmodernfarmhouse. Retaining original details and vintage charms in a gut renovation is not a simple task, but we were up for the challenge.

This was the first project where a porta potty was essential from day one, and I had to remind the crew that we were “not in the middle of the woods on this one” but rather in a neighborhood with curious passerbys. One, who was not shy to share with me that they were “not sure” about my color selection on the garage at first, but “could see it now with everything finished.” Story of my design life. Trust the process, man, trust the process.
