Beyond the Black Box is a design-build collaborative between Major Jacks and Wishbone Construction. We each bring a unique breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to create bespoke homes and interiors in the Catskills.
Heute Haus was completed in 2024 and exclusively listed and sold with the Catskills’ leading design-forward real estate brokerage, Anatole House. Bear Run was completed in 2025 and is now FOR SALE with Anatole House. Stay tuned for our upcoming projects in 2026 and 2027!

He brings this broad range of knowledge and experience to bear on each project and is constantly refining methods and materials to create the best products possible.

Erica has a diverse background ranging from legislative work in the political world, project and program management, and real estate marekting, sales and investing. As a self-taught designer, she has sense of freedom from rules and conventions, with designs characterized by a distinctive, ever-evolving style that prioritizes cohesion and timelessness while resisting themes.
